Admissions were on merit basis. I scored 89.25% in CBSE 10+2 exams and I got this college in 2nd cut off. I could've been transferred in other colleges i got in futher cut offs but withdrawing Admission was a complex process and i was stuck here.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's just like every other college. The CBSE system and curriculum. There's no practical experience tho. just the normal book study and exams. We hardly get any real life experience which i believe is necessary to be successful in any field. One good thing is, majority of teaching staff is good.
Internships Opportunities
No they don't. Maybe that's because of inactive and unregistered departmental societies. We are supposed to look for Internships outside our college.
Placement Experience
We do have a placement cell but it's just as active as the departmental societies (IT IS NOT). Very few number of students get any jobs through it. Every we are promised to be given a good placement cell by Student's union but none of them fulfilled their words.
College Events
Just the usual College fest and Freshers, Farewell. Nothing other than that. These are not celebrated in an ideal way too. Poor quality good, Poor decorations, Poor sitting arrangements. We are not provided enough and apt equipments for organizing the events atleast the way it should be done
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is quite okay. We have really less to pay in comparison to those studying in Private colleges. Perks of being in Government College. We're only required to pay 10k or so yearly and also examination fee which is uncertain but revolves around 1k every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fees is really less in comparison of other private colleges. It's just 10k or so or a year excluding the examination fee which is 1 k or so each semester.
Campus Life
We don't have much extracurricular. It's only for those who're settling for less. Even in the events we don't have much opportunities. There are very less companies who agree to sponsor our fests and so we're unable to organise a reasonable number of events and on a moderate level.
Exam Structure
It's just like every Dehli Unisversity exam. Quite hectic sometimes. The timings are afternoon to evening and sometimes we have all 4 exams continuously if makes it really difficult, otherwise it's quite okay when we have a day or two for preparation.
Admission
It has a real pain, provided that it's a govt. college but still i was expecting something better. We stood there for 3 days from 8:30am to 4pm and the administration had no empathy towards any of us(except for those with CONNECTIONS).
