Remarks

Good: In the list of good aspects of this college according to me on top is the faculty of this college is very good, administrate department was very helpful, dtdc buses connectivity, E-rickshaw and ola/uber cabs are easily available, no fixed attendance so I could do some internships or self-studies at home also without fearing of attendance, the fee is very affordable (4160/year). Bad aspects: Metro connectivity is far and you have to take a bus to visit the nearest metro station which is 20 mins away, the canteen was not that good, water availability wasn't good and carrying water daily wasn't enough. Admission process: Its totally based on merit list and cut off system, the good thing about this college is that they do not cut your marks in changing stream. Normally you have to apply on the official website of du in the month of May-June and they release their cut off list in the month of July so you have to check everything regularly. I got to know about this college through my freind.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Faculty was too good and highly qualified holding doctorate degree as it's part of the university of Delhii and Du considered as one of the top universities, their teaching method was practical based and they made sure that everyone is learning equally. Faculty was enough for students as their assistant professors were very smart and they manage a lot. I chose B.A Prog cuz I wasn't sure about any particular subject as many other students. In this prog, they give you different subjects in different semesters so that at the end of the course one can analyse their interest. At the end of every semester, they take an exam which is not that tough if you have studied well. Generally, semester ends every May and November and exam happen in June and Dec for all year.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

I didn't participate in it cz I wanted to apply for high education so I don't know or remember the company's name but I can say they were not that big firms. They were small firms offering very low stipend.

Placement Experience

1.5

As I didn't participate in this process cz I needed to apply for higher education. But my friends joined some internships but it wasn't that good and not provided good stipend so in this area I give 1 star.

Fees and Financial Aid

When it comes to fee you can clearly see it is the cheapest of all. They charge you for your course yearly. For my sub (B.A prog) - 4100 for 1st year. 2nd and 3rd year: 3300 (General category). And it's clearly the cheapest. In the end of your course, they provide campus selection and many organisations come for offering jobs and internships but I didn't participate as I wanted to do high education.

Campus Life

3

By taking admission in any college of Du you get a pass to visit any college and attending fests. In this college normally fest happens in the month of Feb or march, in which they invite well-known celebrity. There is no social life in this college as it is situated in a village-type area so there is no option malls or clubs available in this area but you can take an auto and visit Rohini's G-3S which is hardly 20 mins away. The library is good and books are available for every cource but in limited amount so who goes first get first.

I feel like the curriculum is a little out dated and boring but due to a good faculty it makes the course more worthwhile The curriculum is very text based and less practical and more emphasis on bookish knowledge persists still .

As per I've heard, placements here are decent. I can't say for sure because I'm new here. About my plans, I am doing CFA side by side because I don't believe that a bachleors degree has any valur of it's own, one needs to pair it with something else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a person who wants to build a strong foundation in both economics and mathematics, B.A.(Hons.) Economics was my first choice. This course not only provide valuable insights into how real world economics work, but it also has great career prospects. Students studying economics major actively take consulting, research, risk management as popular career choices. Since this is a practical course with a broad focus on mathematics, the difficulty level is from moderate to high.

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for my course, economics hons. , I would say is very relevant to our day to day life. The curriculum set by the university doesn't focus only on indian economics but economies through out the world. The suggested books are also the top books used in many international top universities. The curriculum provides us with a lot of real world applications through various case studies. For exams the delhi university guidlines are followed and I would say now the exams are based on more of practical usage and how materials taught in class are applied in real life.
