Likes

The teachers are really good and helpful.
The seniors are friendly and understanding.

Dislikes

The location is very far and it's hard to travel
The water should be checked, canteen and cleanliness
The admin staff is rude sometimes and are not much of any help sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good and is well alinged with company secretary course which is a professional course that i am pursuing side by side. The exams are not too easy or hard. Allthough some subjects like vac, aec and sec can have better options.

Internships Opportunities

I have recently conducted an internship drive my self under the research and development cell of thr college with blue star publications which offered students internship in various aspects like marketing, event coordinator, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is around 8000 per year and around 1000 rupees for the examination of a semester. There are alot of scholarships which are available to avail. The course is affordable and economical for those living nearby.

Campus Life

The environment is very good here. Alot of departtmental fest takes place. As the president of Research and development cell i have organised various competitions and so have the other societies. The overall experience is good.

Admission

I actually had not chosen this college. I was new to this stuff and didn't had much guidance so I ended up making a very wrong preference list because of which i got this college. It is a good college though.

Faculty

Every teacher is good. They put a lot of efforts in the lectures the deliver. They are approachable. The mid sem exams are easy and most of the students pass the exams as easily securing a good CGPA.

Night Life

This college is far away and therefore we have never stayed over night and no overnight event can be arranged and alot of monkeys also roam around the college so it's not safe to stay the night in the college mostly students try to leave before 4 as after that they get stuck in traffic jams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

A Brief about Aditi Mahavidyalaya, DU for BSW Course

To be honest, i have applied to many other colleges as well as i wanted to do btech after my 12th but later on i changed my mind and explore other options. So then i got to know about this course BSW and the applying procedure was quite easy at my time, as when i got admission in this college there were not any such entrance exam or anything, they were just considering 12th percentage only.
