I love history very much and this university offers me a good infrastructure for study and here we have good and experienced faculties.Moreover, we have a detailed syllabus for history than any other universities in India

History is a beautiful subject where we can study in a beautiful method. Our history department is one of the best departments in the university. Here we have the best faculties in india. The student faculties ratio is 50:1. We have two internals, two assignments, and one seminar each semester. If we study well we can surely pass the exams.

For the social science courses, there is no campus placement normally students after completing thier pg they will write the UGC NET exam or continue by PHD studies. courses in the school of social science are integrated programs. We can quit the course after 3 years if we had completed 120 credits. Normally no other universities offer quite options for the integrated programs. But Pondicherry University offers this is its plus points.

Fees are comparatively High by looking at other central universities. first-year first semester we have little huge amount near to 10,000. After that, every even semester we have fees is 2000 and odd semester we have 7,500. We want to pay the exam fee also as extra. Where one paper has 16 and mark sheet amount of 50

The University campus is very good and it's an eco-friendly campus. Where we free to explore. There is an excellent common library for the university for all departments and each school's had its own library for studies. We also have online journals for overstudies which are given to the faculties. In each class, there will be only 23 students for BA and 60 for MA. So we can interact with everyone. University has many sports events mainly the football is the breath of the university, every year we have near to 5/6 football tournaments . The hostel day program is the another great festival. DJ programs are held in every year, There is many social and political groups in university where everyone can active according to their taste.

Every hostel had about 100 rooms where each room consists of 3 people. Where we have 3 beds, 2 study tables, and 2 shelves. Hostel fees are 2000 and the mess fee is 18000. We have Normal quality of food. After getting admission in the department it's easy to process for the hostel accomodation. First rank students will be accommodated in rooms and remaining students are accommodated in domatries later they will shift according to room vacancies. There are also many rooms for rent outside the university. Which are rated in different methods.

We want to first clear the entrance exam conducted by the school of social science of Pondicherry University. after that on the basis of Rankin entrance qualified students have to come to the admission. During admission, there is a small interview. The entrance exam conducted by the school of social science is common for HISTORY, POLITICAL SCIENCE, AND SOCIOLOGY. Just focus on the higher secondary (+1,+2) history, political science, and sociology.
