Remarks

I had particularly selected this college because of the theatre culture. Our College is good in every aspect but sometimes there is a lack of communication. There are various facilities available. There is a different team's. The campus is also good. Professors are well equipped.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have done my bachelors in Economics. The department was good and helpful. There are difficulties sometimes but they are tackled very well. The syllabus was amazingly structured. Classmates were also supportive.

Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience

I have friends who got jobs because of their contacts. There is diversity in job opportunities. You got to be open to everything. Teachers constantly update you regarding various internships and job opportunities. There are seminars, workshops within the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got in on my merit. I don't know the procedure for scholarships but some members could help you with all the information. If you get the admission on your merit, then fees are really low. Despite taking such fewer fees, the overall experience was amazing.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is so good. The campus has a natural touch. It is highly maintained. There is a famous theatre group. There are VPM teams. The fest happens in December. Preparation starts way before. All the process is fun.

Interview Experience

There was not any round for admission. Admission was purely based on your score. And after 12th, there is inhouse admission. External students can also take admission. The only thing matters are your score.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Life of St Xavier's Mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

The Best College Campus

Remarks:

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.

Inside scoop on ruia

Out of fright I applied to many colleges like KC , ruia , ruparel , wilson , Elphinstone etc but atlast decided to choose ruia as the microbiology department of ruia is outstanding and the no. of opportunities one can get when in ruia is very vast and the growth which happens in a place like ruia where there is a team/group/society for evey persons liking and ability . I didn't got any rejections as my score was 67 and every other college's science cut off was very low so there were many choices for me to make so as per the credibility of evey college i compared the department and curriculum and RUIA turned out to be the best . IN RUIA ONE CAN DEFINITELY BALANCE STUDIES , WORK AND EQUAL AMOUNT OF FUN DURING FESTS.
