Remarks

It is a very nice and beautiful college. It has a big playground. And own the library. Garden. Canteen. This college is divided into two building. Old building and new building. It has an elevator for blind students. Hare many courses are available. Seminar room is nice. And has the best auditorium. Time to time here many activities held etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to study here because of my 12th marks was not very good. I had only 74% but still, I want I regular college. To this college become my destiny. In 12 I was a student of arts. So I chose the colours. BA programme. I want to study political science, history, Hindi, English, and many other subjects. So I decided to take the BA programme. Here students ratio is good. 100( Boys)/80 (Girls). Their teachers are very nice. Because they played the role of Teacher and friend. And students. As much as they can. Here semester wise exam held. In every 6th month. And it is not very difficult to pass. If you attend the classes and give cuncern what teachers are saying. And study. Only daily 1-2. Hours. Then you can get nice marks.

Course Fees: INR 6920 per year

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about internship opportunities available in college because many students are presently taking the class and studying and I'm sometimes some company came here to hire a student for internship some students are interested in someone not interested ban on them.

Placement Experience

I don't know much about from which semester students become eligible for campus placement and don't know much more about which company another company visited on the offer made detail of highest package as per company and profit offers a percentage of students getting and my plan is to take a course in history honours so I can study further.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here you have to pay the online free ex exam fee. Addimmision fee etc and about the scholarship. You have to check the notice board daily. You can update yourself. If you lost id card or anything. Then you have to pay. Only amount to make it once again.

Campus Life

There are many fests was held. Like the new student welcome program. And a special event program. Like. Independence day. Gandhi Jayanti etc. There are many books. In the library. But not enough for everyone students. Sometimes you gave to search book. Out of college also have NCC. The practice was held. Team match. Or other things also organise.

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

Not my first choice, but not a Bad one either

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The reason why I choose this subject because I like history and want to know more about it . History have the best opportunities to pursue the UPSC , Anthropology, archeology and we can learn more about historical researches . The faculty im the department of history is updated and well versed in the field of history and have adopted student friendly teaching methods which make me suggest this subject in JMC to the students who likes to pursue higher studies in history. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with moderate difficulty level .

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences. I had placed satywati college at the seventh position in my preference list and based on my CUET score and eligibility, I was allotted this college. while i had higher preferences, I couldn't make it to those due to high cutoffs in popular north campus colleges. however, Satyawati offered a decent academic environment and the course i wanted, so i confirmed my admission here....Read More
