Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good and is relevant in my professional life today as well. I apply many concepts learnt in college every day which has helped me perform better at my work place.

Internships Opportunities

In the course that I pursued B.com, no internship was provided by the college. However, I pursued the same on my own during the summer vacations.

Placement Experience

The placements are good. At the end of the last semester, we had a college fest wherein companies from all over India came to the campus for interviews for all fields. Most of the top companies in tricity and North India are present in the campus for the Job fest which help in better placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I know that MCM offers scholarships, but I am not aware of any of these and the criterion for the same as I have never availed this.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. I made lot of friends there. Well it is a girls college so you will find girls from Punjab, Himachal, Haryana and of course the locals. The extracurricular activities happenes every now and then and everyone is welcomed to participate,

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .
