Remarks

The college has an extraordinary faculty and a great alumni list. The college is best known for it's physiology department which is one of the oldest colleges for Kolkata providing education in this subject. The college has a list of rank holders every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have an extraordinary curriculum and faculty. The curriculum is set by the university of calcutta and our college has the best faculty in this field. The practicals as well as the theory classes are conducted evenly and a great support is offered by the professors.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 10515 per year

Placement Experience

During our undergraduate studies no internships are generally provided by the college community. Students generally pursue higher education. Internships are always encouraged by the college for it's students to get a good knowledge about the industrial environment.

College Events

Annual sports day and fests are conducted by the college. The fest of our college is Sangrila, where students are free to bring out and showcase their talents. Other cultural events are also conducted within the college premises.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the fees is very low and affordable, loan facilities are generally not opted by the students. Scholarships are provided to the students who academically do well and belong to backward classes.

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

An overall experience of college

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is average. Many well known companies do come for campusing like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. They offer an average package of 200000 LPA. The highest package is around 600000 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is 45% My plan after getting the degree is pursuing MBA..

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

From second last semester students get internship opportunity and from last semester they cab get placement opportunities. Few students choose to go to do own business. And rest chose to go for placement. Their area many company visit for placement like tcs , pwc, Wipro, nivida, IBM, and many more prestigious mnc and companies come. Highest package is 15lpa and average is 8lpa. Number of students get placed is 98%.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

A college with all the facilities.

I applied in 5 colleges;Seth Anandram Jaipuriya, Goenka, Surendranath, Lalbaba and City college in which I am currently studying. I got confirmation from lalbaba and City college. I chose City college because classes are conducted regularly here. I got rejected by Jaipuriya and Goenka for high cut offs. The admission process of our college is completely online. Those nice college days

I had applied in many colleges and also got selected there but I chose city college for it's friendly atmosphere and supportive seniors. In order to eligible for pass course you need minimum 60percent for not put yourself in waiting list. If you score below this then there are chances that your name will be not in the first list. There are 2 or sometimes 3 lists are out for admission list. If you want to go with honours then you need 85 to 90 percent because seats are very limited...Read More
