Remarks

my course was not available in any other colleges, college's reputation also the faculty of the college. I chose this course because I want to get into fashion designing and tech industry of fashion designing

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really interesting,teacher are super friendly and helpful. The college also provides industrial training during summer breaks. We as students never felt overburdened with work. Also the teachers focus on practical work than compared to theories.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 23000 per year

the placements and job opportunities of the college are really good. The average salary of a student is I guess 30000 or more ( in our course)

College Events

campus of the college is also good and the events held in the college are good as well, a lot of events are held in the college each year. The last event organised by the college was a ted talk event and all the speakers interacted with each and every student.

Campus Life

the college infrastructure is good,the college hostel has wifi facility. The college canteen is also good. There's a mini stationery shop in the college campus as well. College library is also very clean and students can read and learn with full concentration

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
