Remarks

Ggdsd college is situated in the heart of the town. This college has an excellent infrastructure well designed administrative blocks. College has an excellent teaching faculty with highly qualified and we'll experienced staff. Ggdsd college has an amazing library and labs with all the latest edition of books and equipments for test and reference. All students have all the facilities for games and sports. Major thing is that, it is in my budget and is in my home town.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of science (BSc) is an undergraduate degree course usually of three year duration. It is one of most popular course choice. This course is also beneficial for students who wish to pursue multi and interdisciplinary science career is future BSc Syllabus in Ggdsd college is updated New books comes every year. Professional courses are also good like BBA.

There is no placements and job opportunities for my course BSc But their is placements and job opportunities for other professionals courses like BBA and BCA

Singing competition, Dancing compitition, Debate competition, Drawing competition Sports day Annual function, And many more, Ggdsd college has its own rotary club and many more clubs are there in college. It feels like a festival. Judges comes from different parts of the state.

Campus Life

Students have all the facilities for games and sports Wi-Fi is available The library is spread over 5000sq.ft, and has a seating capacity of 150 students in its reading section. All the latest edition of books are available in the library. Labs equipments are very advanced.

The subjects covered basics like programming, DBMS etc. which is useful in the beginning. But honestly, it's not enough for real - world jobs, so you have to learn extra on your own. Exams were regular and not too tough.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Life At GGDSD

I have chosen GGDSD because in my locality no other college offered this course ghat too a full fledged one. I did not apply to any other colleges and got my admission here in the very first go and was quite happy with way the admission process happened It was smooth and even the faculty members helped through it. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
