Remarks

College Infrastructure is not that good but yeah college is good also second best in Maharashtra after IIT-B.

Entrance Preview

I sat for MHT-CET, in which I scored 160/200. Since I was always interested in computer technology but I never wanted to mess up my mind in hardware learning so I choose Information Technology as my branch whaich has all to do with software only.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is similar to that of any Mumbai University college almost but the big thing making it good is that it is Autonomous. The exam is of good level and checks the level of academic capabilities of students. Since the topper of CET ate hence education here is quite good with other activities aa well.

Internships Opportunities

They do provide sorry but about that I have no idea as I am a first year student but seniors tell us students of VJTI do go for Internship.

Placement Experience

1.5

I do not know the real scenario but what I have heard till now they are really good especially for my branch also some top notch companies like Microsoft and Samsung come for placement sessions in our college. And also some give packages of 20+lacs so that's good from this I guess.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for a normal middle class family it costs almost 70,000 per year for two semester for college fees there is only one option for fees payment and that is online through SBI gateway and for hostel you need to pay 21,000 and for mess 30,000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Category benefits I got to take admission in this college and there is a dedicated scholarship department which conduct a seminar for everyone to give an idea about what are the available scholarship for students.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good but college is in a residential area so outside area is not as a college supportive. But still we have lots of places to hung around. Being in Mumbai adds to that there are may be famous places in Mumbai which one will always try to visit once in his lifetime.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The Infrastructure of hostel is not that good but at same time it is cheaper as well in a city Link Mumbai facilities as such are not that good firstly no wifi over here mess food is good also so altogether its like compromising since you won't get much facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are wonderful both senior as well as the alumni are supportive even in our college we have a alumni association as well.

Exam Structure

A semester consists of 2 seasonal and one end sem exan that's all about the exam structure there are no practical exam for first year but seniors tell that they start from second year. Sessional consists of 30 marks each and contribute to 30%. 10% is in teacher's hand and rest 60% is contributed by el end sem Exam. This is for First Year.

Admission

Through CAP Rounds. After you get your result, after few days of that you need to fill your college preference. After that results of CAP Rounds ate announced. You have 3 options. 1) To freeze that is to take the college and branch alloted, 2)To Slide in which you want the college but better or different branch 3) And last one is To Float in which you wait in next round for better branch and better college simultaneously. Total 4 + 1 special round for government colleges were held.

Faculty

3.5

No expectations from them that's all. All we have to do on our own. Not all are bad but they are that dedicated to their work they are good only if you are interested in sitting all the lectures of the professor. Else you will have to study on yiur own for exam.
