Remarks

GGDSD College is the Best college for commerce in tricity for students aspiring to do bcom or bba. The best thing about the college is its infrastructure and the cleanliness. The faculty members are also very supportive and welcome new children.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is up to date and provides enough industrial exposure to the students. The faculty members are well educated and very helpful. They try to teach in the best way possible and make the concepts easy for students to understand.

Course Fees: INR 32000 per year

Placement Experience

I am still in my second year so I don't know much about the placement opportunities but I've been told that many big companies come for placements like Deloit.

College Events

The college organises fests for children every year and many other events also. The commerce and management club hosts the college fest called pannache and it's super fun. There are various clubs in the college and students can join them for their overall development.

Campus Life

The sports facilities are quite good. There is a big playground for children to play. The canteen is very hygenic and provides various types of meals to the students. There is a big sitting area near the canteen. The classrooms are also big and have windows for ventilation. Overall infrastructure is good.

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
