Remarks

My preferred degree and also a great curriculum. I was always interested in nature. I wanted to do something related to environment and wildlife. The course offered a great stretch of that. So I decided to took up the course. Campus is also brilliant.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is detailed. Faculties are excellent. Laboratories are equipped with new and advanced tool. The classrooms are well furnished giving ample amout of space. The entire campus of the department have enough space.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

For engineering it's not very good. As the university is very new. But regional placements have been significantly improved

College Events

Tezpur university is great. It's a cultural hub of Assam. It doesn't have a very rich past but slowly they are becoming one of the most decorated universities of India. Cultural events are very frequent.

Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Course Curriculum Overview:

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

A Grounded College Experience

Placement Experience:

To be honest, I don't know much about the placement mechanism at my University. Most of the students mainly go for LLM, either in India or abroad. Other than this, some go fo judiciary examination. In terms of campus placement, every year, on average, 15 students get placed out of the strength of around 60 students. Students, on the other hand, secure placement on their end too. My plans after getting the degree are to first practice in court, and then attempt the judiciary examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very good where the studentsget to experience the real life legal situation. The college has many seminars where many renowned speaks and other legal professionals come to give lecture on various topics of law which helps the students to learn more about the different fields of law. There are also legal aid camps where the students get to know the legal situation in underdeveloped regions and provide free legal services. The college also organises court visits, moot court competitions, legal debates etc which helps the students to enhance their rwuired skills in this course. However there can be some improvements in the moot courts competition by encouraging the students and giving them flexibility to participate in the competition without being bias. The exams are conducted timely in the mid of the month and the difficulty level is prominent for any law student in this college.

NIT Silchar Review: Campus, Career and Career Prospects

Placement Experience:

NIT Silchar has decent placement stat. Approx 75 percent student got placement from campus and they got decent package. In NIT Silchar from 7th semester students are eligible for placement and company comes whole year for recruiting. Approx 100 company visit the college throughout the year. In tech Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart and more companies come. For core L&T, Adani, Tata Steel and more companies come. For service base Infosys, TCS, Wipro will come and give good offer. Highest package will come from tech company and that is 52lpa and average from all companies will lie from 10 to 12 lpa . My plans is that in my 4th year atleast I will get one job. If I don't get job then I will try from off campus or giving paper for government job

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. My college admits students on the basis of exams like JEE Mains , TUEE , CUET , etc. For the engineering course the students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains and TUEE scores and the cutoff is not fixed, it changes every year . A look at TU for MBA program

TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever.
