St. Xavier's is one of the best branch of colleges for the courses other than B.tech. I always wanted to join this and by god's grace, I finally made into it. The college is located in my favourite city Mumbai. It is the best city to pursue higher studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers in the statistics department are really helpful. They are eager to help students with even the simplest doubts. They have excellent knowledge of their subject. They teach in a way that leaves students clear on the subject matter. Mathematics department teachers have good knowledge, but they don't know how to teach properly.
Placement Experience
St. Xavier's being an Autonomous college has excellent placement be it placement for Higher education abroad or Job opportunities. It's reputation always a pages a way for best placements. Moreover the college offered various workshops and internships in reputed firms which adds to the students resume.
College Events
in this college, I got excellent exposure to learn so much beyond the course like organizing International Chemistry conference and volunteering in College festivals like Malhar which helped me shape my personality.
Campus Life
The college has amazing facilities. The college provides an open Wi-Fi facility for all students. There is a lab for every subject. Statistics lab in our course is equipped with top of the line computers along with all the relevant software. Classrooms are huge and open, so there's no need for the air-conditioned facility while studying. There's more than adequate sunlight. The library has so many books, and it's almost impossible to go through all of them. The hostel has good facilities. The canteen provides reasonably priced food, but the taste is just average. More varieties of food are not served for the students.
