Student's Review On Lady Irwin College, New Delhi

This college is situated at the heart of delhi with every facility like metro,market,food shops,shopping markets,book shops available nearby. It also has a lot of auditoriums where drama sessions were held almost daily. One could never not find any way of entertainment here. Food technology is a varied subject and it has always interested my mind to look into the food manufacturing and processing. This course has helped me gained a perspective of food industry and its survival in the market. These 3 years were full of knowledge and approach towards life. The college infrastructure is supposed to be the best here. Lawns,cafes, amphitheatre is always full of life and chirpiness. The greeenery in our college is surreal. And those beautiful walls remain a photoshoot area forever . Lady Irwin is a lovely place to be.

The course was updated to the latest date. We had a wide curriculum which included all the aspects of food Technology and food industry. A full fledged syllabus was providedto us by our teachers. The college has organised various conferences and meets with the renowned people of the food industry. In house trainings were provided to the students with a minimal charge. The teachers were all knowledgeable and helpful enough to prepare the students for the future endeavors. They kept us informed about the various trainings and events which were held throughout our college life. Pulkit Mathur ma'am has always been helpful to us regarding our entrances or subject projects be it anything.

There's always bling and laughter in the entire college. The societies fashion,dance music,art,drama,NSS organise events and competitions throughout the year. The college is never quiet but yet it feel so calm to be there. Our college organises the biggest annual fest quintessence where artists like Ayushmaan Khurana, Darshan Raval have also performed at. The different departments also hold different events and conferences where a lot of other colleges too take part. A DJ eve is yearly held in our college. A 2 day fest is organised where competitions of all sorts can be seen and participated in.

Every Irwinite knows of the famous red brick walls our college has. A separate sports playground has been made with a gym built too. Sports of all type can be practised here. The whole campus is provided with free wifi for the students and staff.every floor of the college departments have enough washrooms for the students. A 2 floor amphitheatre is also present. 2 big lawns are there where the students can be seen chilling A well set cafeteria is present. Different departments have different set of laboratories specially designed for them with all the latest facilities available for the students. Our library comprises of books of all the curriculum as well as other books. It has been arranged set up properly according to the department books and well sitting area has been made. A separate reading hall is also provided for the students for serious works. It is also 2 storeyed.
