Ahilya bai college of nursing is one the oldest and finest college of nursing in delhi ... It not only provides quality in clinicals aspects but also in theory. Teachers from mamc and hods from lnjp hospital comes to teache topics of their expertise. One should definitely consider this college for opting in bsc (hons) nursing

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of our college per year is around 6000 excluding mess charges. 1500 per year is student nurse association money 2400 is mess charges per month And some additional exam fees is there that has to be given per semester Scholarships are available for sc st and obc students

Campus Life

Infrastructure of the college is not that great as it is a very old institute. Curricular activities are conducted during intercollege competition but as such no societies are present within the college. There are no facilities for sports or clubs or student portal

Admission

To take admission in bsc (hons) nursing you required to appear in neet after pursuing pcb in class 12th. Admission usually occur through mcc but sometimes college release their form to speed up the process. Only female candidates can apply for this course in our college

Interview Experience

No admission was truly based on merit based list which was based on NEET UG score . Candidate have to appear in neet exam to be eligible to take admission in course then have to attend counselling following document verification and fees submission

What really influenced my decision wto choose this course was how it combines both theory and practical learning which is really important for the kind of work we are preparing for. some subjects are taught well but it could be more engaging . Assignments are more in number . Clinical duties and classes together makes it hectic.

Firstly you have toh appear for NEET exam and to appear in this exam you must have passed your 12 with biology as the main subject , then you will have to go through the councelling which will be conducted by MCC . You have to make the preference of colleges during counseling , which you want to opt for your studies. On the basis of your AIR you will get the college. Admission process at ahilya bai college of nursing is through neet ug exam, counselling is through mcc and students who will selected will get their names in list at abcon website. Reservatiom candidates will offcourse get benefits as cut off will go low for them. Neet exam is 3hrs 20 mins with difficulty level easy to moderate and syllabus will be completely ncert based.
