Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The college has a hospital for the students to have clinical exposure. Lok Nayak hospital, New Delhi is well known for all the department facilities that it has. Hence the college has a higher credit for providing ample clinical practice to its students. The only thing about the course which is quite time-consuming and drains all your energy are the assignments. But yes it cannot be ignored, and you have to stay punctual with all your work. Then there are long clinical hours which might, again, drain you out but yes it is essential for this profession, so got to get it done

Internships Opportunities

3

There is a 6-month internship for the students at the same hospital And you would get a stipend of around 13,000 each month for the students. Also, the clinical exposure that you would get at this institute is excellent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is affordable to all, you have to pay for the mess, tution fee and hostel fee as a DD at the time of admission and also pay for the uniform. Later on from the 2nd year you only have to pay for the mess fee which at present is Rs 2400 / month and also pay for the SNE fund around 2000. Also with each semester, you have to pay for your university exam fee, which depends on the subjects you are appearing for. No other fees are taken from the students after the admission.

Campus Life

4

The campus is beautiful, full of greenery and is kept clean. There are many canteens available all around the campus, also there are parks, a library, Amul parlour, kendriya bhadaar, mother dairy etc on the campus. There are limited vendors allowed inside the campus. Also, there are security guards at the campus gates all around the clock, so it's safe.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are good , and yes there is always something or other that needs maintenance, since it is a government college . But all the facilities that it provides are good. Students have to share rooms in first year with 2 students per room. Next year onwards , students would get their seperate rooms with single bed ,study table , cupboard, dressing table , chairs , book shelves etc . The single rooms are big enough to accommodate singke student. Water and electricity is available 24*7. Security guards are present at the entrance all round tge clock . Students are allowed to stay out of the hostel till 8 pm , after which tge gates are closed . You woukd have hostel attendance at around 8 pm every day , taken by tge warden . The hostel is attached with the mess and college , so there's no waste of time .

Admission

Students have to appear for the neet exam , and based on the cutoff of each year the admissions follow . Since the college is in delhi , there is reserved seats for students with Delhi's domicile. And then there are respective reservations for the students belonging to different categories. Also, students have to fill in a registration form of the college other than the neet registration forms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

T think the course curriculum does a decent job of covering the important topics and giving us a good foundation. What really influenced my decision wto choose this course was how it combines both theory and practical learning which is really important for the kind of work we are preparing for. some subjects are taught well but it could be more engaging . Assignments are more in number . Clinical duties and classes together makes it hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The job security. This field provides high level of job security and for those looking forward to settle abroad it's a really good option to pursue. The curriculum has really tough management, as it is so time bound, there's even a concept of make up duties wherein you have to attend 2 days clinical duty for being absent 1 day, this really prepares your mind to be attentive and understand the meaning of deadlines that helps you deal well in the real world.
