- Clinicals could get exhausting , since it is important that you go through the adequate clinical hours in order to get your degree
- The food should be nutritious. More of healthy foods should be added
- There are few holidays provided to the students, its not at all like other Du colleges It would exhaust you out to be up to the expectations
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has a hospital for the students to have clinical exposure. Lok Nayak hospital, New Delhi is well known for all the department facilities that it has. Hence the college has a higher credit for providing ample clinical practice to its students. The only thing about the course which is quite time-consuming and drains all your energy are the assignments. But yes it cannot be ignored, and you have to stay punctual with all your work. Then there are long clinical hours which might, again, drain you out but yes it is essential for this profession, so got to get it done
Internships Opportunities
There is a 6-month internship for the students at the same hospital And you would get a stipend of around 13,000 each month for the students. Also, the clinical exposure that you would get at this institute is excellent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is affordable to all, you have to pay for the mess, tution fee and hostel fee as a DD at the time of admission and also pay for the uniform. Later on from the 2nd year you only have to pay for the mess fee which at present is Rs 2400 / month and also pay for the SNE fund around 2000. Also with each semester, you have to pay for your university exam fee, which depends on the subjects you are appearing for. No other fees are taken from the students after the admission.
Campus Life
The campus is beautiful, full of greenery and is kept clean. There are many canteens available all around the campus, also there are parks, a library, Amul parlour, kendriya bhadaar, mother dairy etc on the campus. There are limited vendors allowed inside the campus. Also, there are security guards at the campus gates all around the clock, so it's safe.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good , and yes there is always something or other that needs maintenance,since it is a government college . But all the facilities that it provides are good. Students have to share rooms in first year with 2 students per room. Next year onwards , students would get their seperate rooms with single bed ,study table , cupboard, dressing table , chairs , book shelves etc . The single rooms are big enough to accommodate singke student. Water and electricity is available 24*7. Security guards are present at the entrance all round tge clock . Students are allowed to stay out of the hostel till 8 pm , after which tge gates are closed . You woukd have hostel attendance at around 8 pm every day , taken by tge warden . The hostel is attached with the mess and college , so there's no waste of time .
Admission
Students have to appear for the neet exam , and based on the cutoff of each year the admissions follow . Since the college is in delhi , there is reserved seats for students with Delhi's domicile. And then there are respective reservations for the students belonging to different categories. Also, students have to fill in a registration form of the college other than the neet registration forms.
