Remarks

To join a government college to pursue carrier in Merchant Navy. As my college name is former DMET so the best way to join Merchant Navy is by government college. Although DMET has a great record from past 60 years.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was really good according to time college management completed syallabus and there is lot of time to well prepare for colleges and faculties is very good except 1or2 lecturers.remaining evry thing is fine.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience

Many companies like THOME. SC,I Synergy have visited our college last year. For placement you must have to clear all your semester with at least 70% marks in average in each semester then follwed by interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can avail state Scholarship from your state government and beside it you can also get rupee 75000 scholarship if you perform best in top 50 in each semester. If you are university rank 1 holder then you will get 1lakh scholarship each semester.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is included in your academic fee and you don't need to worry about food as it is also included in academic fee. Hostel facility is very good as you will get a sea facing hostel in Mumbai with free with wi_fi.

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

As I always wanted to join the merchant navy so my senior's and every one suggested me to join imu as it is a govt college.
