Remarks

Some factors that drove me was it had a good online presence. Also checked up with alumini. They all had good things to say. Faculty experience and knowledge also looked convincing. It was in Bangalore. Lesser strength compared to other Bangalore colleges so placements will be better. Had Europe trip compulsory.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course syllabus was pretty well updated. Had some good cases studies. It was a good college for HR and Marketing branches. Many good faculties left after I graduated. So I don't know about now. They did take us on industrial visits. Shanmukam sir was the best teacher ever.

Internships Opportunities

Hunger box. Two months. 15k per month

Placement Experience

3

Many companies visited. Deloitte and pwc were present. KPMG also. Mercedes Benz came. Many startups were present. Bad opportunities for operation and finance students. More for hr and marketing. Most marketing and finance is sakes roles.

College Events

4

Had one event every year. Ximera. It was the technical and cultural and management fest of our college. It's completely in control of the students. We have to get sponsor and fund it. Pretty great experience.

Campus Life

Wifi was provided to all students even at hostels. Library was pretty good with curriculum books as well as casual reads. Had good magazines and newspapers daily. Basketball court was nice. Badminton court also. A small football court.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is compulsory. Three students in room. Can pick roomates second year onward. Food was ok. First year they put you based on alphabetical order. Two hostel buliding. Hostel at main campus is bad. Other one has a open balcony and bigger prettier rooms.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice
