- You are not allowed to leave the hostel after 9.00 pm. Though management focuses more on the safety of the students, sometimes for emergency purposes too we need to get permissions
- More importance is given to the academics, which leaves the students to get extra curricular exposure
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum focusses more on the practical exposure of the management related problems. The whole course revolves around the Harvard Case study and the discussions will be based on them You will be having class tests (either as quiz or case study presentations) The questions asked in the exams are situational based which you help you to implement your conceptual knowledge in the situation.
Internships Opportunities
The highest internship opportunity was given by British Telecom with the stipend of 75000/- per month. Adani Enterprises, EY, Oxane Partners, Infosys are some of the companies which came for Internship opportunites
Placement Experience
It is mandatory for students to do 2 month internship at the end of first year around the month of May and June. Some of the students will get PPO from their internship companies itself. The official placement season starts from the October month of the 2nd year. KPMG, EY, Infosys, Accenture are some of the top companies that came to the placements this year and the placements are still going on. The Highest Package as of now is 23 LPA given by Lowe's India. and the Average package is around 10 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The management follows Trimester pattern as you have to pay 5 times a year (3- Tuition, 2-Hostel). The tuition fees is Rs.200000 per term. The College provides you an opportunity to get educational assistance from HDFC Credilla. The College will also give scholarships every year based on the academic performance which will be leived from college fees
Campus Life
XIMERA is the annual fest of XIME which happens during February of every year. Students from many parts of the country will participate in this event and the whole event is being organised and managed by the 2nd year students, XIME has a dedicated Club for each core domain such as Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing and Cultural Club and X-Seed is the club for social responsibility. XIME WInners is the dedicated Club of XIME, which is taking care of XIME's presence in other college students by making students to participate in various competitions. As it is a residential programme, you can easily access for resources and can study for the exams.
Hostel Facilities
You will get a decent room with attached washrooms and as of now 4 members are staying in a room. A new hostel building is being built. Hostel mess will provide you decent food. There are some PGs near College premises.
Admission
The main reason for me to apply to this college is their Alumni Connect. The alumni connect is helping them to understannd what the corporate and the business expects and the curriculum has been framed and changed frequently based on their inputs. The College accepts MAT, CAT, XAT exams and the eligibility percentage is 75%
Faculty
A class has 60 students and each faculty is assigned with 20 students as Mentors. Each term has a mid term and end term.So in an year we will be having 3 midterms and 3 end terms. The curriculum is being changed based on what the corporate environment excepts.
Interview Experience
The admission process consists of GD followed by an interview once your application got shortlisted. The GD topics will be mostly based on the current happenings and interview questions will be based on the work experience and for freshers based on their graduation stream.
Night Life
XIME has seperate gym in both boys and girls hostel with basic equipments which will be open all time Hostel will be closed at 9.00 and students will not be allowed to go out or come back inside after that. You will get everything that you need from the backmarket outside the college.
