Course planning is too good Extra curricular activities are more Academics are too perfect Main thing college faculty is too good as they teach in many ways to understand all types of students.assignments they give us are more conceptual

Coming to the placements the placements are very good recently one company called cognizant came.nearly 200 students are attended 96 students got selected they will allow students who got more than 60% for placements

College Events

We read well by enjoying college life,there will good events once in two weeks.these events are too good and they celebrate college fests well.they invite celebraties when the events are held.so student life will be nice

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they will provide a form which will be use to get loan from any bank.all education loans are available .they will accept chalan also so every student can pay easily but there will be little bit pressure to pay fees

Campus Life

Coming to the infrastructure it attracts the students very much according to me in banglore presidency University has best infrastructure .as it contains a huge library, good playground,wifi is available, equipments in lab are very nice

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted hostel.coming to the hostel there are many hostels but hostels are not in college they are far from college and coming to the food it will be not nice we are facing only problem in food

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

More than a campus: The Presidency University experience

I had applied to other colleges under CU, got selected and did get admitted to Lady Brabourne College but I chose Presidency Univeristy over other colleges because of its rich legacy in the history of SouthAsia. Presidency University which was formerly known as the Hindu College has a decorated list of alumni, with the names of Satyajit Ray, Abhijit Banerjee, Amartya Sen, Swami Vivekananda, Jyoti Basu, Jadunath Sarkar, R.C. Majumdar and so on. There is an entrance exam held, PUBDET for admission in the UG courses while for the PG courses PUMDET exam is available. The eligibility for UG courses are 12th pass with an aggregate of 75% minimum required for the board exams. I've chosen this university for it's groundbreaking background. Every course has its theoretical and practical aspect which attracts me and several students. No, haven't gotten any rejection from the colleges so far.i wanted to study here and got in here. For BA and MA there are several entrance exam. PUBDET for undergraduation and PUMDET for postgraduation both are conducted by WBJEE. Cutoff depends on the performance and the ratio of students.
