Remarks

Miranda House is a prestigious college which offers quality education with a colorful spirit. The admission process was a little hectic and we have a bit of a communication problem with the admin office workers. But everyone was friendly and helpful. Our seniors were great and they helped us in every way possible. During my college years, we bagged the first position in the NIRF Ranking and it was a proud moment for us. I prefer this college over other south campus college because I love the environment in the North as it is more suitable for a student. I do not use any website for selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I am particularly interested in English. I love writing and reading. We have around 50 students in our class. Our teachers are all loving and hardworking. Mid sem internal test are conducted on weekly basis. Our exams were not very difficult to pass but was not easy to score good marks

Internships Opportunities

3

I am not sure about internships offered. I am not personally involved in such so I am not very sure about it.

Placement Experience

3.5

I am not sure how many students are getting selected for placements. But we have an organization in the college namely The Miranda House Placement Cell, they are responsible in informing students on current jobs or internships available.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee hike has no problem for me but I do not know about others. Given the quality education that we get, I think it is worth the price. I do not have any scholarships or financial assistance during my college years but I have friends who got minority scholarships.

Campus Life

5

We have different kinds of fests every now and then. But the biggest college fest is usually held in February. Books are available in the library. Classroom infrastructure could be improved. There are different clubs like literary, drama, music, etc

Interview Experience

4.5

No there is no such interviews or tests. It was solely merit based and students are selected on the basis of there marks in 12th board

I want Miranda House better

Course Curriculum Overview:

The IGNOU course curriculum is comprehensive and relevant, especially for distance and open learning. Studying with IGNOU course can help in clearing your basics as well as detailed understanding of the topics. It is useful in preperation of government exams as well. The exams are conducted each year or every 6 months for different types of courses so the time to study and prepare is enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like my course because from the beginning I had to study Political Science under Bachelor of Arts. Also, this course is taught very well in the college but if some changes are made in it like language and selection of the right professor then it will be even better. Also, the exams in the college are held on time but the difficulty level is also different.
