Likes

To start with, I think the college's infrastructure is awesome, but occasionally, some people might get lost or confused about the room numbers. Overall though, the college's structure is fantastic.
Second, I believe that our college should upgrade the sitting areas in the canteen because occasionally there are not enough seats for everyone and the canteen gets overcrowded.

Dislikes

Not much, really, to be disliked, but I am a little let down by the way the seats and fans are arranged in the auditorium. It seems like they are meant to be there but aren't.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to major in chemistry because I am interested in the subject and want to learn more. How the things relate to chemistry. However, occasionally, certain teachers make me regret my decision to enroll in this course. One of my teachers teaches everything rather than just her specialty.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Alright, so the cost of college is both reasonable and moderate. I was about ?19,000 in my first year and about ?18,000 in my second year. Yeah there is also scholarship for those students whose financial condition is not too good. The entire examination fee for this year (the second year), which comprises the minimum fee for semester 3, the addition fee for semester 3, the fee for seven practical courses, the statement of marks fee, and the examination form fee, is approximately ?2210, compared to approximately 1700 for the previous year.

Campus Life

Indeed, there are a lot of clubs and societies if we talk about them. However, my schedule does not allow me to participate in any of them. Speaking of libraries, our college has a well-stocked collection of books, a well-designed interior, and comfortable seating for patrons. There are many sports also. Most significant festivals and everything: yes, my college hosts numerous festivals, including ones for Onam, each department separately, the entire college, etc.

Admission

When comparing my college to others, I observe a few things: 1. Infrastructure 2. Ranking 3. I favor this since my college is a women's college. 4. Teaching methods There are thus more points that are similar to these.

Faculty

Approximately ninety students and twenty-five teachers make up our second year of study. To be completely honest, when it comes to their interactions with the students, some teachers show partiality toward some students while neglecting others. For every student, there are teachers who excel. Personally, I think our physical chemistry teacher and the organic lab teacher are the best teachers because they do not show any bias toward any particular student. Regarding exams, instructors handle them quite skillfully. They simply take their answer sheets and allow the person who was caught cheating to leave the room. Nobody in my class has ever failed an exam.

I think my course was very best for those who have not decided their future plans. They want to explore more field of science not restricted to a particular field (as like me). Placement Experience:

After completing the IV Semester, students become eligible to participate in Campus Placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and DeShaw visit campus every year and recruit students. The highest package offered for the Batch of 2023 is 21 LPA, and the Overall Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. But No. of Placements is less due to some factors, such as Companies being fewer the number of visits here, also the Majority of Students opt for a master's. CGPA should be more than 8, to sit in Placements. My Plan is to do a master's if I can't get the placements then Polish my skills to get a job in a reputed company in IT.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

I applied for Economics Hons in LSR, DU where i cleared the cutoff but the document verification was extremely strict. They would not allow any sort of mistake or leniency due to which i couldn't get in. Even though i cleared the cutoff couldn't get in. In my second cut-off, i applied for the same course in Hansraj and then in Miranda house. The later was linient in document verification, they listened to the problems that a faced during the certificate collection from my home town since it was an offline mode. They provided me with time after taking understanding for the same and then i was enrolled in as a provisional admission. I provided the documents and git in. As in Hansraj, it is a co- ed college so i didn't choose it. Also the faulty is better in Miranda house as per the reviews of ex-students....Read More

You will never regret to be a Mirandian.

I also applied for Banaras Hindu University and I did get Economics honours there but as the result was declared late there I chose Miranda and also I believe the personality development which is possible in Delhi is not in BHU .To get admission in Miranda cuet exam has to be given. It is required to score 700+/800 to get into Miranda and as I am from unreserved so the cut off is much high . I am from BA program ( economics+ history) and my cuet score was 757 . Also remember that every time cut off fluctuates . One can find application form ,fees and dates on cuet samarth or nta's website. Every information is given on these sites .. This time we faced a lot of issues in the answer sheet and also normalised score decreased in most of the cases . So all those who are going to give cuet next year aim for highest marks... The Most Geniune Review as a First Year student.

I applied for IITS but could not secure a rank and get into the college. I was eligible for du colleges but I chose Miranda House because first and foremost it is a girls college and also college is wordly renowed for its performance .For getting into my college first one have to clear CUET.12TH pass canditates can apply for it and for my course you have to apply for CUET and clear the exam .The cutoffs for the exams is pretty high for science courses the cutoffs are high and competitive.
