Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is according to set standards from university of Delhi. Syllabus is updated time to time, even in this time of lockdown, teachers keep us updated with all the new syllabus. As I was studying on campus and we were not given any opportunity for industrial visit. You can only learn what is in books. Faculty is good as some teachers are really supportive and they know what the students want.

Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College does offer scholarship to students who scores the most in a course. They also check that it is above certain percentage and attendance details of the students. Students with low income group can avail some reduction in fee if they provide some documents asked by administration.

Campus Life

Our college provides a very big library to the students, free Wi-Fi in the college campus, it consists of two computer labs. It has a very big auditorium for cultural events. It has a rock garden where there are multiple types of flowers.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel option in our college. So I can't tell you about hostel seats and it's fee. Student coming from outside Delhi find a sharing room and live in that pg.Mostly their rent was around 5000 per head which includes food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
