Remarks

Because it is a reputed college under University of Calcutta and had a reputation for having good professors. It is also easily accessible being located at Exide More one of the busiest parts of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is great. All the professors in my course were not only helpful but extremely welcoming, always ready to guide us through our problems. Course syllabus has changed for our juniors so it'll be different for people joining later on.

We have a placement cell that holds orientation programs each year and even has brought companies like Indigo, Wipro and PWD

College Events

Campus life was pretty eventful. We had debate clubs, sports and NSS. Also departmental programs were fairly common. Various intra-college competitions are held every year and even a small food fair is held before Puja holidays. College always encouraged us to take part in extracurriculars. Srijan is a pretty well known fest that our college holds. Also various departments bring in guest lecturers for educational sessions. College recently had a online mental health session too for the welfare of students during pandemic.

Campus Life

College had good facilities. From a working canteen to yoga room and even a stationary shop inside the premises for students. The library is well equipped and classes are air conditioned. College also has a field that it shares with the school for athletic meets.

Honest Review about Praxis Business School

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

IIT KHARGPUR- WORTH IT?

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
