Remarks

Proper facilities and good faculties, infrastructure was well enough, laboratories were very up to date. The course faculties are the one of the best faculties of Bengal. Every aspect of academics is good enough and the location of the college is not far from the main city.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was decently updated, it wasn't fully updated but the course did provide the required knowledge to work in an industry. Industrial training was provided by the Institute. Faculties were mostly good and well behaved and were approachable.

Placement Experience

Companies like TCS, cognizant recruited from the CSE and IT, and companies like H. R. JOHNSON, PINNACLE, SIMPLEX INFRASTRUCTURE recruited from civil. Overally the job opportunities for Civil were less.

College Events

Each year We had 2 technical fest, one inter college where all technical institute of Bengal were invited to participate and one intra college which was to develop the skills of our own students and We had one cultural fest.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
