Remarks

The very first was the reputation of my college all over India and there were many important factors like placements, college clout, learning environment, teachers,the companies that visit my college,extra curricular activities and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall it's great. currently my course is the most demanding one in the industry.also a good course combine with a great college makes your college life blissful.the curriculum here in VIT Pune is much different than other colleges and it's mostly coding based.

Placement Experience

My college is known for its placement all over Maharashtra. despite being a private university our placements rate are much higher from some of the NIT's around our country. despite having 7-8 courses in my college we have a average placement of 7.6 lacs per anum.

College Events

The campus life in my college is amazing.there is a diversity of students and we have many spots in our college to chill out. also the extra curricular life is bliss. atleast we have 1 small event in a month and we also get 2 major fest events to have fun

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
