Remarks
University of Kalyani has an integrated course in statistics which not many universities provide. We don't even have to take optional subject with our course in our fourth year. Has a nice environment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good and academic wise our course is very informative. But some faculty is not upto the mark. But whereas there many teachers who are really good and explains new subjects in a good way.
Placement Experience
At the end of the year we get job replacements, which is good according to my seniors. There are many alumni who can actually tell you more about what kind of jobs will suit oneself.
College Events
We have different department fests which is not a that big enough but very enjoyable. There is a hostel fest held in different hostel in the campus. Both kind of celebrations requires enthusiastic participation and the whole thing is held in good spirits.
Campus Life
The university has a common big library which has books on various topics by various authors. Good wi-fi connection in different departments and hostels. The campus have big areas where everyone can play different sports
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are not that bad for a government university. Any hostel residents will get a desk and a good bed. Food in Ladies hostel is good. Good wi-fi connection available. Hostel availability depends on the Hostel in charge.
