Remarks

Faculty and Placements. The pride this 190 year Old college holds and also the college is close to my home. The entrance Exams were quite easy and the admission procedure was less complicated. I wanted to take BBA so this was the best option in kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course here are Very much upto date and are taught by Experienced faculty. The Department provides Industrial exposure and are quite aware about the changes done by the University. Pinaki Mondal Is One of the good Faculties here at Scottish Church College BBA department.

Company visited are Tata Amazon lot's of Private banks and several other companies. The placement are offered to a Lot of students and yes the placement procedures are quite simple. The alumni is quite good and Helpful and They to organize events here at college.

The Campus life here is Quite Good and Enjoyable. Events have that Scottish Grandeur and Are Very Popular and Huge. Events involve most of the students so that everyone can be a part of the big events organised here.

Campus are Clean and Are Safe For Everyone. Sports facilities are Quite normal. Library are Quite Upto date and this college has one of the best library in kolkata. Labs are Well equipped and Classes are Full Ac.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet. The laboratories are not up to the mark as there are less number of instruments. However there is a central library which is pretty good. There are projectors in most of the classrooms. The thing one can appreciate here is the cleanliness, whether in the classrooms or in the hostels or in the canteen.

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. Remarks:

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

My overall experience in Scottish Church College, University of Calcutta, Kolkata

I got offers from Presidency University, Kolkata, Vishwabharati University, Bolpur. In Presidency Uni, the students are more immersed in any other activities. Scottish Church College, is the only co-ed college to come under top 80 colleges of India, and Calcutta University always comes within top 10 state universities of India. I also applied in Jadavpur University, but couldn't get chance as it was COVID year and my marks weren't enough.
