Remarks

The college is one of the best colleges for science. Moreover it is located in quite elite place. Also it is well connected with metro station. Also the college is very beautiful and has a nice infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite easy and is based on the latest guidelines of the UGC. The course is of 3 years and is divided into 2 semesters each year. The course consists of zoology, chemistry and botany. All the faculty was nice

Placement Experience

The placements for science students are not that good. As the students and companies prefer post graduation. So the students from science background go for higher education. Though the college does provide internship opportunities. Every year the placement cell conducts the summer internship program where various companies pay visit.

College Events

The extracurricular activities included various webinars, seminars and workshops. The fests were conducted where various celebrities come and sing. The fests are amazing and is very much enjoyable. The college also conducts various intra-college workshops.

Campus Life

The campus is not that big. It has a basketball court and the ground is quite big. The library is well maintained and consists of all the books. The computer lab is also there and is fully maintained.

I think my course is upto the mark and what i wanted to study it covers everything a commerce background student should study and also sec vac helps in learning something diffwrent too. So i think its really nice as it helps in overall development.

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

From 5 semester students are eligible for college placements and my college placements on a scale of 10 is 6 . It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam

Maitreyi College is majestic!!

I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
