Remarks
I chose to be in IISER because I am interested in research and when it comes to research there is no match of IISERs in India. It has good infrastructure and all other facilities are also upto the mark. Faculty members are also so supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is of international standards and faculties are so supportive. I think almost all of the faculty members are good but NGP Sir is best among them. He is the most humble man I've ever seen.
Placement Experience
IISER Mohali doesn't have a well established placement cell so no big companies visit IISER Mohali for placements. Though I remember a company (Dr. Reddy) that visited last year and select only 2 students for the job but they didn't accept the offer.
College Events
You can see small cultural events happening all the times as the students are from all over the India but Insomnia is the only big fest. In our annual fest anyone can take part in event from IISER or from outside of the IISER.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is upto the mark and all other facilities such as Wi-Fi and sports are also good enough. Library is huge which can accommodate around 400 students at a time. Labs are well equipped and has almost all the equipments that are necessary for the smooth running of the course.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are compulsory and build really beautiful. In first 2 years, you'll have to share your room( 2 per room) and in 3rd year you will be allotted single rooms. Well I don't remember exactly how much do we pay for the rent but it's under 10K for the whole year for all the facilities like sports, gym, library etc.
