Rohit Kumar's Review On Institute Of Jute Technology - [IJT], Kolkata

I was seeking for government college and i came to know that. University of calcutta has some vacant seats so i filled that form and admitted in this college. Then there were more seats available in this jute and fiber technology branch. And some seniors suggested me to take admission and i did.

My course curriculum and syllabus is easy. what professor teches you in the class, they ask questions in between that. Many faculties are hard working and they use to provide us information at their level best.

Its pathetic some companies used to come and hire upto 10 boys and girls but rest boys.many of them continue their study with gate or M.tech in the same college. And Raymond, WFB, and other known companies come but not everyyear.

Campus life is boring if you are not a self driven person you will fill to bunk college daily. There is so extra curriculum and extra event. Neither technical nor motivational. They don't put any event. Sometimes 1 or 2 seminars happens.

No i didn't get any scholarship. I am from bihar and continuing my education in bengal so i don't get benefit by bihar government. And it is total impossible to get benefied by other government.

Campus is quite small with some indoor game facilities liks table tenis, there is no wifi nothing, labs are there for not so much well equipped and facing alot of issues. Many expensive machines are there but they don't run.

Yaah hostel is small but total full of resources. In one room you have to share room with 2 more persons but if you find you better partner then your hostel life goes smoothly and you enjoy it. Water purifier,geaser.sweeper, a clean mess with table and chair available for having meal.
