Remarks

The college environment is good and we have many facilities. The campus library 12 hours open. The course I choose is food engineering and technology because it is interesting course and in this course we can learn many things like how to extend the shelf life of the food, packaging products, how to preserved the products etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is up to date. In this syllabus we can learn many things, and it is up to date The faculties are good and they are very helpful. They explained it nicely. And the laboratories are very helpfu.

Placement Experience

For Food engineering and technology job opportunities are available but not so easy also. We can get job in industries. Some of our seniors are doing jobs in many industries. During our training we communicate with them and realized how to get job.

College Events

On between February to March we have Ecstasy. It is the cultural fest and it is for 4 days. In this fest we have dance competition, rampwalk, bands, sunburn and various cultural program In October we have Techracy for tech fest and it is for 3 days. In this days we have quiz, funfrolic, cultural night, DJ night.

Campus Life

We have library were all the books are available and we have digital library were we have LAN facilities. The campus have sports facilities like badminton court, basketball court, football court, etc. The equipments are available in the laboratory.

I didn't apply for any other colleges .As my sister home was near and this institution is under central government guidance,I just prefer this college only . The admission process is very simple here , a student can join the institute through jee mains,citkee or all india engineering exams . CIT KOKRAJHAR reviewed

Other colleges I applied were NEHU and Tezpur University.I got IT branch in NEHU and Mechanical in Tezpur and CSE in CIT kokrajhar.I preferred CIT because the CSE branch is what I wanted from the beginning.Even though it's infra level is less than Tezpur University,but I didn't wanted to waste time in other branch rather than CSE .CIT compared to NEHU had better chances for CSE students....Read More
