Delhi University has a very good ranking and also to do graduation this was the best option I got. Minimal fees and quality education with lots of other factors that can help you build your personality.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course and curriculum is very appropriately designed. We read the one-third of all honours courses i.e. Physics, Chemistry and maths. And also each semester a language subject is included Or environment science. Also we have skill enhancement course for each core subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry and maths and for computer science which changes every semester.
Placement Experience
Our college Placement Cell is very active. So many companies visit our college for placement and internships. But till date I have not attended any internship or placement fair.
College Events
Different societies arrange different fests and events so campus life is exciting, fun and learning. But due to our course we have a very busy schedule so we are mostly engrossed in classes from 8:40 to almost 5:00.
Campus Life
Our campus is modern and almost all necessary facilities are provided. We have many lawns and also a playing ground where girls can practice different sports. We have cricket net practice there, a basketball court, Lawn Tennis court. Botanical Garden also where botany students study different plant species. And auditorium and a audi foyer for different societies to practice. Well equipped labs. But as our college is next to the Siri Fort we face a huge network problem. Though college has Wi-Fi connection but still network is always a problem.
Hostel Facilities
Our college i.e. Gargi College,University of Delhi does not provide hostel facilities for students. But a common hostel facility is available by the South Campus. I guess two hostels are there for girls and one hostel for boys. But then admission to hostels are very tough as that also depend on cut offs and marks.
