Manipal Institute of Techology Manipal is the finest institution in the country with developed labs and all other facilities which help a student to develop engineering skill inside them.Atmosphere of the college is really energetic giving the smoothest environment to teach and learn

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is of standard type and it matches the international standards of Engineering education. apart from syllabus we got to learn about operational, managerial & problem solving Skills. The total marks and the cgpa is calculated by considering internals, externals and assignment marks.

Placement Experience

Placement at MIT is good as it is top ranked Engineering College, many companies visit the campus for placement drives and hire many students from almost all the branches, but still as in all Engineering college MIT also has shortage of companies for mechanical students and other core branches.

Manipal institute of technology conduct's various events in a much because its an active college, where all students are energetic and want to engage in some activists. there are various fests in College where many comedians perform and its fun.

Campus Life

MIT has a very beautiful campus and infrastructure is of premium standard. Manipal institute of technology has all the amenities made available for its students ranging from beautiful garden, food court, spaced classroooms, laboratories etc.MIT College has one of the largest library in asia with great number of collection of books.

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Likes

Hostel food. Rooms facility. Library. Canteen.
Caretaking, cleanliness, education, laboratories

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees.
