I have seen this college from outside since my school time and the confidence and shine of Mirandian girls has always attracted me.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It included many aspects which was necessary for elementary school teaching. It includes sociology, natural sciences, langugae studies, child psychology and pedagogy of various subjects and many more. In electives I got my favourite subject mathematics the practicum was also interesting it includes direct interaction with student and concerned personal.

Internships Opportunities

There was no stipend offered but the experience was good we were working with human beings the actual practicing teachers and young learners. I worked with various schools including private and public schools. I worked with kulachi hansraj, Cie basic school etc.Internship includes a 4 month detailed practice of teaching with primary students in government school and one month teaching practice with middle school and two months project work with young learners in pairs. Along with these compulsory internship there were many option to work with many reputed institution like mirambika , digantar, eklavya, work with Bala project.

5

Endless college events fresher's party to fest then departmental fest then dinner evening in college gandy study circle. Movie screening with reviews and reflections debate. Seminars out station trips. Theatre and music activities sports and nice day every wednesday activity period eyc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible not very expensive. It is around 15000 per year including annual charges, charges for ID. They provide the resource room with reference material, library facility in addition to this a minimal charge as exam fee needs to be paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarship but I am not aware of those in detail there are scholarship from ugc, ajimpremji foundation, Udayan care etc.

Campus life is awesome there is lot of extra curricular activities we can avail any of these it is a women college. But all students from all college are invited and welcome to put up their views and perspective debates on social issues are organised regularly gandhi house is my favourite followed by sukriti the theatre group and music group.

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.
