Remarks

according to my rank and cutting rate, faculty, situated in west bengal, kolkata, R.G Kar is a renownd hospital with a bigger catchment area of sealdah north section.good transport facility from my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

course was of 3 yr, curriculum- there was less number of teaching and seminar class, less chance of interaction with other department, academics- there was a communication gap in between junior students - senior student and teachers. faculties was good enough

bond period of 3 yr, so one have to do job for the government, and if we want to break the bond we have to pay 3000000 rupee

College Events

no such extracurricular activities except departmental celebration of picnic, teachers day, birthday celebration, and college fest.no well known sports activity was there.actually there was less interaction between postgraduate students with undergraduate students.

Campus Life

though the rank 1 in west bengal, ophthalmology department was minimally equipped.less ground area. no attached play ground. old buildings are very much dirty, with greater mismanagement regarding waste disposal and cleaning.

Hostel Facilities

not opted for hostel, but hostel rooms are dirty, less equipped in relation with other metro city medical college post graduate hostel.meals was not good enough for continuous 3 yr duration.less equipped recreation fascility at hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech
