Remarks
No other College had their applications open. I had been rejected from the other courses I had applied to, like medical and engineering. Long after the board results were out I had to take the decision of choosing another stream, so.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum hasn't been changed since 1900s or so. No industry exposure whatsoever. Internships were looked down upon. It's so old and regressive you'll feel like you've landed in some village. MG ma'am and SB ma'am were both proactive, helpful and knowledgeable.
Placement Experience
There weren't a lot of companies coming. I think there was only cognizant, TCS and all that who generally go everywhere for mass recruitment. But here they took very few people as most didn't have much experience with programming.
College Events
There was a sports competition and an intra cultural competition for internal students. Annual cultural fest was the only large scale event where other colleges could perform. No regular seminars or academic meets take place.
Campus Life
Sports field would never be open apart from sports day. Never heard of WiFi on campus. Library wasn't that bad actually. It had all the books in the curriculum not many outside of it though. Few magazines too.
