It is a heritage institute of good repute. It has very good departments with the most helpful professors. Moreover, the homely and peaceful academic environment of the college makes the whole experience a memorable one.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows the curriculum prescribed by the University of Calcutta which till our batch covered the standard topics of Economics well enough. The faculty have been very very helpful and cordial all throughout the course.
Placement Experience
Students mainly go for higher studies from our department. Still campus placements take place for those who choose to go for jobs. The alumni network is also good where our alumni are working in different sectors and faculty helped us to connect us with them in case of any query.
College Events
Intra-college competitions, Bethune Day, college fest, annual sports and various other extra-curricular events take place throughout the year where students are encouraged to participate. Other than that various seminars and exhibitions are also organized where students get to learn about different aspects about and outside their respective subjects.
