Remarks

Because I chose this college through councelling. Here teachers very helpful. They inspires to achieve something nice. I was thought to get Cse but through high competition I was achieved IT. There is good facilities here. To improve your knowledge every time doing some competition, workshop, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Seeing student strength, NoFaculties are good. Prabhakaran sir is good.They provide us stage to show our talent.They help for doing our activities. They are vey helpful. They are not only doing help but also to increase our will power for doing something new.

Placement Experience

Cse and IT department will provide same opportunity to placement in the same days. Companies arrives and take interviews and get jobs of both IT and CSE department. Choose best candidates and get the jobs with good salaries

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3.
