Remarks

Being one of the best colleges for Business Economics in Delhi University,SGTB Khalsa was among my top choice among the colleges offering BMS, BFIA or BBE under the DU JAT. Having fully air conditioned Classrooms, excellent faculty, sports amenities and being located in the North Campus makes it a great choice for anyone willing to pursue Business Economics honours.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Syllabus of our course is quite relevant. We are taught Big Data Analysis which is an essential skill in this day and age. For those interested in research, we are also given the option of presenting a dissertation for credits. The Faculty is quite young and are great at forming a connect with the students which ultimately leads to better learning.

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 126000 per year

Placement Experience

Having a well functioning placement cell, the college has good companies visit it for college placements including the BIG 4. There are a few good StartUps that have been started by the alumni of the college.

College Events

The College has an annual fest called Lashkara which stars the most popular Punjabi singers each year attracting huge crowds. Many other events are held throughout the year. There are a plethora of societies who are regularly holding activities.

Campus Life

Though not the best, the campus of the college is pretty good considering its size and the sports facilities.The Library extends to 3 floors and includes a floor where the Student can study or access computers.

I think my course is upto the mark and what i wanted to study it covers everything a commerce background student should study and also sec vac helps in learning something diffwrent too. So i think its really nice as it helps in overall development.

Placement Experience:

Talking about the placements it has society that is placement cell you have to join it for updates and also you will register on your college portal also. According to previous data it has a highest placement of 6.5 lakh per annum and the companies which visits here are google, tcs, infosys, etc And in every year you are eligible but you have experience in fields a good resume My plan was to prepare for ssc after getting the degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Life at Deshbandhu

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester students are eligible for college placements and my college placements on a scale of 10 is 6 . It's good compare to other colleges also name of the companies that visited in our college are DE SHAW &CO, EY, AMAZON and many more. Highest package offered last year was 23 LPA and average package is 7 LPA . 45% of students get placements from campus my plans after getting my degree is to give MBA exam

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive.
