Remarks

SMU is a repudiated university and easy to learn the subjects. They have all India exam centres. Call centre will help you a lot. All will be done via online. They have SMU App from which student can learn easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course will be done online and they provide good guides also for help the students. Even i don't get any problem during my MBA. Every time i got stucked, i call the call centre and they provide the best solution.

Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Well, I was already in working during my MBA and I don't face any problem in my job. Alumni network is also good. I got many mails from alumni. I have done my MBA as distance education. So i can't comment about placements and job opportunities. But I am sure that their job placement would be good.

Campus Life

All facilities are available. Like wi-fi, big library and all types of lab equipments. SMU is the best and beautiful university in North-East of India. Lots of students are coming for admission from many parts of India.

You will also have to do your dissertation in the last semster that is the 4th semster and defend it to get your Masters Degree.

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i have to talk about the curriculum then, overall its good. It covers all the aspect starting from very basics to the most advanced ones for both theory and practical. This course including the teachers prepares us (students) very well to face the real world applications or further academic pursuits. They emphasise more on practical based teaching then theory. If i have to give an example then its 3:7 ratio for a topic. Where 3 theory sessions and 7 practical sessions.

Remarks:

I love my college, though I hate the place majhitar because of its hot weather. Obviously there are a lot of areas where the college can improve, but the faculties are great. The college doesn't always provide you various extra curricular activities, and to organise anything is a headache. But it is a fun college.

Remarks:

I was working and studying at the same time. I wanted to fund my own education. So I wanted to go for Distance Education so that I will be able to manage both. Sikkim Manipal University is the most reputed institution when it comes to getting degree for distance learning.

Joined wisely

I was selected in for Downtown university but for my personal ease i choose to study in SMIT. No i was not being rejecte form any colleges.
