Remarks

Best private college in kolkata, excellent faculty, good labs, placement is good, curriculum is keeping current situation in mind. Chemical engineering is taught well. Projects are good, most faculty support trainings and internships.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was allowed for trainings from middle of 2nd year. Syllabus was good. I had to take tuition for GATE and maths. Syllabus was ok ok.more focus on practical can be provided. Still the lab facilities are way better than other colleges

Good option for extracurricular activities. Various sports club, music club, band room, carrom, table tennis, two drama club, three dance groups, robotics group, photography club etc is there. In sports there is cricket/ football.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from 7 and 8 semester also their are many placement on thee intern companies. thier are total of 50 t0 60 companies that visits year which leads to very good placement percentage, in mining its above 90 percent. companies which come are infosys, microsoft, google , coal india, tcs, pwc etc. the higest pacage was 39 lacs by coal india. as mentioned above the placement is very good and almost everybranch placement is between 79 to 95 percentage of student which are placed, their are many mass recruiter if you didnt get the best pacakge you still have the chance to get a good package from the mass recruiter. my plan after degree is to advance in computer science even if i dont have the branch but i have the passion to do coding and become a web developer also i will try to get some more degree like mba and mtech and i will also try if i get selection to study abroad.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in NIPER Kolkata. Most of my batchmates got placed in several companies. The average packages differ between different departments. But mostly they are between 4.5 to 8 LPA. The institute also offers internships in different reputed companies.

Making it better spaced out and not so uneven could make this more lucarative..and changing the order of chapters taught could help tremendously to keep up without feeling burdended. Timings could be increased in between exams too

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.
