Remarks
Belonging to the University of Delhi is a vision that every student of Delhi holds. Being part of Delhi University has always been a huge deal. I chose Gargi because it's not only about academics but facilitates co-curricular activities also. I've always been engaged in theatre and indeed chose to pursue it in college as well. Gargi thus seemed like a great pick.
Course Curriculum Overview
To study philosophy you have to be extremely passionate. If you like to learn to dig deep, read quite a lot, understand life, intellectualize, and question; to do so, philosophy is a magnificent topic. Especially Gargi college's Philosophy Faculty is very fine.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities that are provided by our college are not very good. Mostly commerce and science departments get good placement opportunities. Though the internship programs provided by our college are actually nice and therefore help you build a good resume.
College Events
Having always been expressive and fearlessly out there, I tried to get into the theater in my college, and never could I have realized that I could broaden my horizons at this great an extent. Theatre equipped me with a lot of skills. It made me more assertive towards the field and has been playing an important part in my life since then. I am now adept at street play. We get great opportunities and we have a very supportive faculty. As I mentioned earlier, Gargi is so much more than the academics. There are a lot of cultural and non-cultural societies. One can find their true love and passion for something with so many options available to them.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of our campus is pretty decent. It has the authentic feels of Delhi university with red bricks. The library has two floors and we get all the material that we need. We have a properly built tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground, and huge playing ground. We have a canteen with a Nescafe stall. The labs are properly maintained and we have good staff for the maintenance of the college.
