Remarks

Thapar is a great collection when it comes to private colleges as it has maintained its class even on increasing the seats. The placements of this college are amazing and are higher than even some IIIT's and IIT's as well. It's infrastructure is much better than any government College and most of the private colleges as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think academics are a little pressurizing as there is lot of competition and the time we get to prepare is very very less and our schedule throughout the year is really hectic. Other than that, the teachers are really nice and they listen to your problems.

Placement Experience

The placements are amazing in Thapar and it's probably the best part of it. Many top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google,etc visit our college and provide good salaries too. About 70-80% of computer and electronics students get placed which is an amazing number.

College Events

When it comes to extracurricular activities, I think Thapar is best as there are a lot of competitions, events that are tech, non-technical, just for fun. Events are something that separates Thapar's college life from other colleges.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is really amazing. Great sports facilities and a decent internet connection are a plus. Library is huge and very well built. Lab equipments are also well managed and nothing required is missing really.

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

There are placements drives being held in the campus but not for the physiotherapy field. But still they do help students to focus on building employability skills through compulsory internships , project works and hospital or clinical tie ups. Many students build strong resumes via internships, research projects, and online certification (Coursera, linkedin),etc. After completing the course I am planning for persuing masters in this field.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
