Remarks

NIRF ranking, and its brand name. The faculty as well. The structure of the curriculum and the exposure to fests and clubs. It was also the contingent of the choice of my parents, and the recommendation they received from their social circles.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I find myself very disappointed with the system. I had high expectations out of this academic system based on other reviews but it turned out to be very underwhelming. There exists a very close-knitted community of people who are dedicated purely towards academics and dialectical discourses, which I'm not sure if it stems from the lack of social encouragement or the carefree attitude of both the professors and students. Although yes, I will appreciate how inspite of its flaws, the DU community is accepting of all.

Placement Experience

3

GoogleDeloitteHDFC95% of the student community is ensured of getting placements. placement is good at hindu college.most of the students from economics and bcom is offered good placement every year.this year two students from economics hons has got a placement of 29 lakhs and 10 lakhs each.placement depends on your skill and the internships you have done.if your cv is strong getting a placement of 6 lakh + is not a big deal.

College Events

4.5

The campus life is very exciting because it enables the communication between people from all corners of the country, sometimes even across the world. I love how diverse the crowd is, which ensures that people of all kinds can be given an equal platform to bond with others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is amazing, bringing many internship and pre-placement offer opportunities to the students. The average package being between 5-7 LPA, and the highest package grossing over 20 LPA. Around 60-80% of the students get placements. If i don't get a placement, I'd presue higher studies.
