Everything is good about this college except the hostel rooms which are little small for two persons. College management is good in our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is totally research driven, as I am a Mtech scholar, have to do research for every subject of the course to get the credits. In each semester, there are two minor exams of 20 marks for each subject and it takes 1 hour to complete it, then there will be an major exam of 50 marks of 3 hour in end of semester and 10 marks assessment either it is research work or problem solving. Thus it makes a full 100.
Placement Experience
Microsoft, Adobe, Samsung, Nokia, Accolite, BHEL and even more companies visited our campus and 90 to 100 percent students got placed every year from our campus.
College Events
Techinti and utkansh are main events in our college. Techniti is techincal fest for students all over India and utkansh is cultural fest and they are very big. Then there is hostel night every year for to be pass out students from juniors. Then for every occasion, there is amazing celebration like new year, lohri, christmas, diwali, dandiya night and many more events takes place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible, my fees is approx. 72000 per semester including mess and hostel charges and there is online mode of acceptance for fee submission and college provide transparency in the fee breakdown like 35000 is tution fees and 2500 is hostel rent and 25400 are mess charges including electricity bill, auto charges, washing machine and many more charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mtech scholars through GATE exam got scholarship from MHRD of 12400 every month till post graduation. Our college provides a form every month which shows our performance and eligibility for every month to avail the scholarship.
Campus Life
There is 1:3 for girls and boys respectively in our college. There are lot of cultural societies and clubs in our college like dance club, singing club, bhangra and gidda club, science club, food club, managerial club and many more. Students all around country comes to study in our college so there is vast diversity in our college.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for hostel. Rooms are somehow small but good for living. There is study table and chair and a big cupboard and a bed as furniture. There is a balcony in every room. Every floor has a watercooller and washing machine in each washroom for students. There is also connection of wifi and connectivity is also good. Food is very tasty in our mess. 24500 is mess charges including hostel for every semester.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very vast. Our seniors are very good, friendly and helping hands. There is alumni meet every year to celebrate together for alumni which is a very big event in college.
Admission
I cleared the GATE exam which held on February 4,2018 and got 2025 rank then applied for Nit Jalandhar because of close to home and got accepted in the second list of college admission. I opt for computer science and engineering because I love computers, technology and love to do coding.
Faculty
It would be 40 to 45 lectures for every subject and mostly all lecturers are middle aged and phd qualified. All are highly qualified and expertise in their subjects. Some of lecturers have industry-expeience and hold certifications from microsoft like companies.
