Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum is divided into sem. There is total 8 semester are there. In first 2 semester we read basic things like chemistry physics mathematics etc, after the 2 nd sem. The core subjects are start. From 3 rd year companies start ariving. more then 200+ companies are coming in one year.

Placement Experience

College give info. About companies on Gmail. Many core companies, startup come in a year. 200+ companies are coming in one year. Institutions take special steps like they provide us many coaching institute like Upgrad, we need a cgpa more the 6. 5 for placement.

College Events

Many events likeAlgorithm --> main event of our collegeMany sport's festTechnical and non technical fests. Many DJ parties are organisedThese fests are very big, more then students of 4-5 states are coming in these fests. Every year many singers are coming.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College accept fees online and offline both the ways, there is no additional fees charges re there. There is complete transparency in the free-breakdownFee of my college bit expensive but fee of hostel is feasible. Hostel provide facilities like mess and laundry.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. The environment of college is good there is no ragging practices are there. Senior of college is good in behaviour, and also staff is very cooperative, there is no harrasment on ethnicity, race, gender political status etc.

Yes our senior help us in placements they recommend us in companies and we gave direct interview which is helpful.

Admission

My college took students on the basis of JEE marks. And it is compulsory to have more then 60% marks in +2. Admission process is fair there is no unfair means. Admission department or staff is being cooperative. Overall there is good enviornment. The admission process is very strict.

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.
