Honest review of chitkara unibersity hp

The curriculum is good because in our university coding subjects came from 1st semester onwards unlike other colleges and irrelevant subjects are removed. The datesheet came before 15 to 17 days of exam so we get time to prepare

As i told about placement so 600+ companies came here they give opportunity of internship in 4th year and after 4th year they convert it into placement. Stipend is not too muhc its depends on company it can give 20k also and 50k also and conbert it in full fledge sallary after completing all 4 years

Here 600+ companies visits the campus per year Almost 90 to 95 percent students placed those doesnt have backlog . Many mnc came for recruitment. This year 1000 students placemt from 3000 in be cse talking about both the campus hp and rajpura once the placement will go at rajpura only for hp campus also.

My tution fee is 70000 per semester in didn't increase for me but every year for new students it increses as of 2025 for new students the fee is 90000 per semester. I opted for transportation the transport fee is 19400 per sem for me different fee structure for dofferent pickup points and every hear it increase about 20 to 30 percent . Other expenses inclides 1 time admission fee which is 10000 and uniform fee which is 9000 at my time i dont know right now it will be arounf 10k or little bit more for 10 t shirts and 3 hoodies . The university didnt have any scholarship but student can avail if govt provides.

The experience is quite good not hread because most of the fests are for hostlers only like dj night and all but many for us also . Many inspirng personalities came at our campuss some of them who visited this year is the owner of chai sutta bar, super pen, lahori jeera and mamy nore the famkus actor rajesh kumar which is in mamy serials and movies like excuse me madam, sarabhai vs sarabhai etc... the famous youtuber the flying beats also came and more and more.... There arw mnay activities and clubs also which are very engaging

My first preference is chitkara university because of the placement . The placement is good here as compared to other colleges here and student intake is not too much as compared Admissions criteria is not too hard for be courses its 60 percent or above and for bca its 50 percemt i dont know about other courses.

There are alot of faculty members there as compared to other colleges 1 teacher teaches only 5 to 6 sections of all years incliding 1st 2nd 3rd. The unibersity didnt have all their teachers only theory subjects are teached my their professors but for coding subjects they hired teachers from code quotient platform their teacehrs are really good and there are classes for communication skill in wvery yewr but not muhc usefull The teacher i liked are Isha mam (dsa) Gaurav sir (java) Sandhya mam(cn) Vidhu mam(cn) Monika mam(csa) Ankit sir(maths) And much more I like then because they teaches vwry well no need to revice also Teachers i dont like are just few Kavita mam(maths) Nagesh sir(dbms) Yogendar sir(front end//back end) I dont like them because they bored in class and their teaching is not that good About exam pattern for 1st and 2nd year there are total 2 fa conducted in sem ehich consists of 10 percent weightage 3 st's of 40 marks in which best 2 is considered and total weightage is 30 percent for end term is of 60 marks weightage 60 percent for coding subject wnd term is 50 percent and fa 20 percent There are 10 to 15 percent students who fails to pass all subjects 80 to 85 percent students pass the exams Exam is not tough

I am not a hostler but my some of the friends are so i can tekl they are very strict for campus life because no alcohol and all is allowed. Frequently checking is there at gates and for girls 8 pm is last time to came in uni and for boys its 9 pm . The famous place near chitkara hp is pinjore garden , balaji mandir kalka, kali mata mandir kalka, kufri , chandigarh is also near so many places are there approx 1.5 hour bus travel and in own vehicle it taked 1 hour atmost.
