Remarks

As per my views and experience I can say that college management is very active and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the curriculum is well focussed on all-round and profession oriented development of students. We were provided a free library with a big collection of related books. There was a free web facilitation center so that we could search project material and could stay connected to web world to know newest research and opportunities in our fields. We were offered a university funded domestic tour to a biodiversity hotspot every year so that we could have a field experience of whatever we see in our books. Different competitions were held regularly to let us show our talent. I got 6 certificates from my college.

Placement Experience

4.5

I saw companies coming to our college for in-campus placement every year. But I know nothing about procedure and outcomes because I never attended them as I had to continue my studies.

College Events

5

We used to organise and attend fests of different departments seperately. Also, an annual fest was organised every year in which all departments used to participate. In addition to these, we attended many guest speakers like Mr. Shiv khera, Kiran bedi, Kumar Vishwas etc. time to time who gave us plenty of knowledge and motivation. Many times we organised nukkad natak, rallies etc. to make our society aware of social and environmental issues.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees is nothing as compared to quality of teaching and the features they provide us.At that time I gave just Rs. 6000 per annum. There was no expense throughout year in the name of any cess or charge to stay in college. Also we were offered so many scholarships which were easy to apply for, available for everyone without any discrimination and impartial interviews were held for selection of needy students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I never applied for any of those.

Campus Life

We had a very diverse yet loving crowd in our college. There were students from north east, UP, bihar, west bengal, punjab, haryana and obviously delhi.I never saw any dispute or not even heard of any gossip about some descrimination done on basis of anything. We had friends from different states.Students were having relationships among different courses.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility in college.Since it is not there I can't write 200 characters.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes our seniors were very helpful throughout our college life and some are still in touch. They guide us about different opportunities in market and even discuss what problems can we face in near future as they also had to face when they were at our place.

Admission

I got admission in this college in june 2007. I had filled an OMR form for admission and then got chance to get admission according to merit list.I went to submit documents and the admission fees on 26 june 2007.I chose this college because I got to know that it is the best college in south campus DU.As north campus was far away from my home and there wasn't any direct route to any college of north campus at that time from my home, I decided to join best college of south campus. Also, when I started classes I realized that it is the best college indeed. It is a college which offer only science courses none of arts or commerce. That's why I found only those students in college who were interested in studying only and were aware of the fact that it was the time for making our future.I chose botany because I love nature and plant world. I am always curious to know what's happening inside these silent bodies.

Faculty

5

We were blessed to have a very nice faculty. Our lecturers were so loving and caring that we could discuss even our personal problems with them. They enjoyed games and competitions with us.They were talented and educated enough to teach us to score first division very easily.Dr.Rajeshwari sreenivas had received award for best lecturer in her field by Dr. APJ Abdul kalam in 2008.All our lecturers were Ph.D. holders. They were all below 45 at that time. They used to organise workshops which were very interesting and knowledgeful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
